West Coast Tree Surgery was started in 1998 and has been carrying out tree care operations mainly in Galway and Mayo since.The business is located in Renvyle which lies in the west of Ireland.The mission of the company is to carry out proper tree care techniques and to avoid any unnecessary tree felling. Tree reports are one of the services offered to help the customer in making important decisions with their trees.
With assistance from Galway rural development and Galway City and County Enterprise Bord, the business was set up by Alan Linnane, who after six years in the forestry industry studied in Merrist Wood in Southern England and qualified as an arborist in 1998. Alan has a Diploma in Arboriculture and is a LANTRA awarded Professional Tree Inspector 2012.
